First large gap in this so-called “daily” log!
Actually, I’ve been instead—something I used to enjoy frequently with an old & close friend of mine who I unfortunately haven’t seen in quite a while.
Funny how that works isn’t it?
Inseparable until you’re suddenly moving in separate directions in life. We’ll always pick up like we saw each other yesterday, but I wish it was just yesterday.
We each played our part,
Why we drifted apart,
Don’t know what it’ll take to pick back up,
Just wish we’d start.
