Two kinds of misfits that had never before been combined 😉

Honestly, the most interesting thing I’ve learned throughout this process is how to push my creativity in the craft of photomanipulation. Rather than just erasing a dog and sticking a wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tube-man in a box, I can push the boundaries by combining layers of visual interest that create something truly unique and memorable. (I hope.)

Originally designed for the 1946 Republic serial " The Crimson Ghost" by Russell Kimball and Fred Ritter, this deeply iconic image was borrowed by Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only from a poster for the film in 1979.
