I was hired at Glynlyon for layout design and ended up doing custom illustration work for them before I was let go for a conflict of personality with The Project Manager.
I learned a ton during my 9 months here, primarily due to the fact that I was teaching myself 
Adobe InDesign and 
Adobe Illustrator along the way.
